shimla mirch or aloo ki sabji



Ingredients
Green shimla mirch - 2
Potato - 4 (medium)
Tomato- 1
Garam masala
Mustered oil
Onion -2
Garlic- thodi se
Ginger(thoda sa)
Cumin (jera)- thoda sa
Hari mirch - 3
Coriander powder
Salt
Hing (asafetida)- thodi se
sauph - thodi se
Coriander leaves for garnish


Method to prepare recipe

1. Firstly wash all green vegetables and cut potatoes , shimla mirch and tomato take it side.

2. Now heat oil in a pan and add some seeds of jera and sauph when it starts to crackle then add chopped onion and after 5min add chopped garlic, ginger, green chilli and hing(asafetida) ek chutki  sauté it.

3. Add garam masala , haldi powder, salt to taste and cook it to 4-5min and now add chopped potatoes , shimla mirch and tomato  and cover it or cook for 15 mins. on a dim flame

4. Next step is check if potatoes are soft then garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti and daal.
