yellow pulao





yellow pulao
Ingredients :
Mustard oil
Rice - 1 cup
Potatoes - 1 or 2
Green Shimla mirch - 1
Tomato - 1
Onion - 1
Soyabin - 10-15
Cumin seeds
Asafetida (hing)
Cinnamon(dalchini)
Cloves  (long)
Saumph
Turmeric powder (haldi)
Salt
Green chill - 2-3

Method

Soak the rice in 1 litre water for 1 hours.Drain and set aside.

Now chopped all green vegetables and green chill also.  

Heat a deep non-stick pan or cooker add the oil followed by cumin seeds , cinnamon, sauph, hing , cloves and sauté for a few seconds or until the spices fragrant

add drained rice or potatoes , tomato , shimla mirch and fried soyabin and salt and roast it for 2-3 minutes.

add one gillas of water bring it to boil and cover it for 20 minutes.

Now garnish with the coriander leaves
